On November 30, 1999 Paul Coffey overtook Mario Lemieux for eighth place in NHL career points with 1,495. "I would be a liar to say that anytime you're mentioned with Mario isn't an honor because it certainly is,” Coffey said about his former teammate after recording assists on two third-period goals in Carolina’s 4-3 win against Calgary. Coffey currently ranks 13th all-time with 1,531 points. Lemieux, who resumed his career in the 2000s, is now eighth with 1,723. Offered are Coffey’s 1,495th-point game-used stick and milestone puck. “Carolina” is stamped low on the back of the shaft of Coffey’s PMP7000 stick, which has “Coffey 77” factory graphics on the front and back of the shaft and his original tape jobs on the knob and blade. “1495” is written on the white hockey tape wrapped around the milestone puck and the shaft of the stick. Comes with Paul Coffey's signed LOA.
