Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A five-time William Jennings winner and ten-time NHL All-Star, Martin Brodeur’s list of awards and accolades is endless, with the superstar goaltender considered by many to be one of the greatest to ever play the game. We have a multi-signed stick used by the HOFer at the 1996 World Cup of Hockey. A Heaton Helite IV model in Team Canada colours with “M Brodeur” (faded) on the upper shaft along with an illegible date code, the stick features it’s original black tape over the blade and white over the knob (with handwritten R). Good use is exhibited with wear to both the paddle and underside of the blade, with some of the blade tape removed to facilitate the added signatures of Brodeur, Lyle Odelein, Pat Verbeek, Bill Ranford (also #30), Ed Jovanovski and a couple others.
