Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
The current high bids for the cumulative group of sublots, $1,769.00, is currently higher than the total for the set, $1,531.00 (this lot is currently winning)
Scoring a goal on his first shot taken during his first NHL game, Mario Lemieux showed his scoring brilliance early, with his 100 points scored during his inaugural campaign in 1984-85 more than enough to garner the coveted Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s most impressive rookie. This Penguins jersey has been signed by the superstar, with the desirable “ROY 85” notation added. A CCM Vintage model with “XXL” sizing along with a tackle twill team crest and numbers, “Lemieux” has been placed across the affixed nameplate in single black twill letters. Mario has signed the second reverse “6” in white, with the notation added beneath, with both displaying nicely. The limited-edition number of “62/85” has been placed above near a Reich hologram, with a matching COA from the company to accompany. *** Please note this lot is a part of the 'Mario Lemieux Pittsburgh Penguins "1985 Rookie of the Year", "1991 & 1992 Stanley Cup" and "Last NHL Game" Signed Limited-Edition Jerseys (3) with Annotations' lot, with both separate bidding per lot and bidding on the entire group.
