His fourth NHL team, Ed Belfour would see action in a trio of seasons with Toronto from 2002 to 2006, with a number of career milestone reached while representing the Blue and White including his 400th career win. Hailing from his personal collection, this group of items worn/used by Belfour include a glove and blocker combo from circa 2002-03 (not necessarily used as a pair), game-issued pads from 2003-04, and a stick used in 2005-06. Also included, we have a signed inner glove from Ed’s career that was originally worn within his trapper, along with a pair of skate shells also used at some point in his career, with both signed. A signed LOA from Ed Belfour will accompany.
The blocker and glove are both CCM models in Leafs’ colours, with “Belfour” embroidered on to each, with both showing good game use, with pucks marks covering the face of the blocker along with examples over the pocket of the glove. There is also heavy rubbing to the leather over parts of the blocker, with a few minor tears over the thumb section. The stick is a CCM Heaton model with “Ed Belfour” stamped to the upper shaft, with the original white tape over the blade and blue cloth wrap over the handle. The stick shows heavy use, with numerous puck marks across the blade along with additional marks and paint transfer over the shaft. The pads are also CCM models in Leafs’ colours with “Belfour” embroidered on to each, with no issues regarding condition. The inner glove has been signed in blue marker, while the skate shells by SLM both show light wear, with measurements listed on one blade, with both signed in black marker.
