Bobby Hull led the NHL in goals scored seven times during the 1960s! The first player to score 50 or more goals in multiple seasons, Hull scored 604 with Chicago before jumping to the WHA, where he scored 303 with the Winnipeg Jets. The Golden Jet’s late-1960s CCM Custom Pro Pattern Made game-used stick has the “Gunzo’s Sports Center” supplier stamp on one side of the shaft and a strip of ancient tape on the opposite side marked "Bobby Hull 1968". “B. HULL” and No. "9" stamps on the shaft sit below Bobby's typical knob style over a notched handle, wrapped in the heavily-oiled bulldog tape. The blade of Hull’s circa-1968 gamer is covered along its length in vintage oily bulldog-style tape as well.
Game wear includes red paint transfer and black marks low on the shaft, and wear along the bottom edge of the blade including partially through Hull’s tape job at the toe and on the heel. There is a chip on the upper front edge of the toe of the blade, which has very slight age cracks running in from the toe.
