The first professional hockey player since Maurice Richard to score 50 goals in 50 games, Bobby Hull achieved the feat in 1974-75 with Winnipeg, in a season that witnessed a record 77 goals. Presented to The Golden Jet by the Winnipeg Jets Booster Club, we have a 1976 Olympic silver coin set , accompanied by a reel to reel audio tape with the play-by-play of Hull's 50th goal by CJOB 68 radio, and a trio of 1976 Olympic souvenir pucks. The uncirculated coin set is in the original case with Olympic ring logo and includes two $10 coins and two $5 dollar coins, with each in beautiful condition, housed in the original plastic coin cases. The lid has a small plaque attached stating "Bobby Hull", "50 Goals - 50 Games", "Feb 14, 1975" and "Winnipeg Jets Booster Club". The reel to reel tape is in the original CJOB 68 box with the particulars listed. Hull scored the 50th against the Houston Aeros, on Feb 14, 1974. He would score three goals in the match, with the Jets defeating Houston, 5-3. A signed LOA will accompany from the son of a close friend to Bobby Hull.
