Joining the WHA's Winnipeg Jets after scoring 93 points for Chicago in 1971-72, Bobby Hull would continue his scoring proficiency in the rebel league, netting 103 points during the inaugural season of the Jets in 1972-73. This puck was used by the superstar to score his third hat trick of the season, on March 14, 1973 vs New England. Sporting the first season logo of the Jets on the obverse, the reverse is blank, with "March 14/1973", "3rd WHA Hat Trick" and "Whalers" handwritten within the logo in ballpoint. The pucks shows wear including black marks to the logo. The Jets would take the important contest 7-5, with Hull's goals occurring at 7:01 of the first short handed, 11:08 of the second on the power play, and at 0:50 of the third. A signed LOA will accompany from the son of a close friend to Bobby Hull.
