Czechoslovakia's back-to-back 1976 and 1977 world championship gold medals are featured in this lot of seven IIHF world championship medals from the late Vladimir Dzurilla's personal collection. Both the 1976 gold from Poland and the 1977 gold from Austria include their blue and yellow presentation ribbons. Three of Dzurilla's IIHF world silver medals (1965 in Finland, 1966 in Yugoslavia, and 1968, from Czechoslovakia's second-place finish at the Grenoble Olympics) are included. A pair of bronze medals features his first world championship medal in 1964, resulting from Czechoslovakia's third-place finish at the Innsbruck Olympics, as well as his 1970 bronze from Sweden. Please see our website description for more information about this lot of seven IIHF world championship medals, some of which include their presentation boxes. Comes with an LOA from the Dzurilla family. The 1976 world championship gold medal has been preserved in magnificent condition. The 1977 IIHF world gold is also a beautiful display piece with a few dark marks on the face and the bottom edge to note, along with a bit of paper and glue residue on the red and blue enamel globe in the middle of the reverse.
Complete boxes are included for the 1964 (bronze), 1965 and 1968 (silver) and 1970 (bronze) medals. The blue box for the 1966 silver medal is missing its cover.
