Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Led by the offence of Frank Mahovlich, Dave Keon and Red Kelly, the 1964-65 Toronto Maple Leafs were coming off three-consecutive Cup wins, with a fourth to come in 1967. We have a mini-signed stick featuring the 1964-65 Leafs that has been signed in ballpoint by 16. At 25” in length (not including the blade), “Praireland” appears across one side of the blade, with each signature added to the same side (except one), making the stick ideal for display. Included are deceased HOFers Terry Sawchuk, Tim Horton and Andy Bathgate, along with fellow HOFers Red Kelly, Johnny Bower and Dave Keon. The majority of the signatures remain bold including the Horton and Sawchuk, with a few examples heavily faded including Eddie Shack.
Others who have signed this desirable mini-stick are Ron Ellis, Jim Pappin, Billy Harris, Ron Stewart, Ron Ellis, Don McKenney and a few others.
