Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
A fitting conclusion to their first season at the newly constructed Maple Leaf Gardens, the Toronto Maple Leafs would finish second in the Canadian Division in 1931-32, with both the Black Hawks and Maroons vanquished before defeating the Rangers in three straight games to claim their first Stanley Cup championship as the Maple Leafs. We have a framed 1931-32 Toronto Maple Leafs team photo. At 9” x 18” and featuring full-length poses with all uniforms colourized, management is also pictured including HOF members Conn Smythe and Dick Irvin, with all players listed beneath the image. Double-matted and framed to full dimensions of approx 14” x 23 ¼”, there are surface creases visible along with a tear over the upper left, with light wear to the frame.
