A long-time member of the Anaheim Ducks with 10 seasons spent in California, centerman Steve Rucchin would finish his career with single seasons in both Atlanta and New York. This photo-matched Rangers alternate captain’s jersey was worn by the Thunder Bay native in 2005-06, where he appeared in 72 games. A size “58” label has been sewn-down to the collar, with embroidered Reebok and NHL crests over the back neckline and bottom hem respectively. Featuring “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in drop-shadow tackle twill, the tie-neck garment has sleeve and verso numbers in matching material, with “Rucchin” arching across the reverse, affixed directly to the jersey. A few marks and burns are present on the “White Set 1” garment, with a small resulting hole over the left elbow. Getty Image #56181429 from Nov 15th 2005 has been matched to the pair of burn marks on the right shoulder (in blue striping), and to the small white loose thread on the bottom of "0" of "20" over the left sleeve. A MeiGray patch numbered C07088 sits on the inside hem near a date swatch, with a matching LOA to accompany.
