The 1st overall pick of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft, Sidney Crosby has played in over 1200 National Hockey League games since his career began, every one of them in the black and gold uniform of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Owning a trophy case that includes numerous awards such as a trio of Stanley Cup championships, a pair of Olympic gold medals, two (2) Art Ross Trophies, two (2) Hart Trophies, and two (2) Conn Smythe Trophies along with many others, offered here is this stick used by the man now known as "Sid the Adult" on October 22nd, 2022 against the Columbus Blue Jackets in which he recorded a goal and two (2) assists in a 6-3 victory. A CCM made Ribcore Reckoner model with "Crosby 87" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original ribbed white tape job wrapped around the handle/knob and black over the blade. Having had "CBJ" penned over the reverse side of the shaft in silver marker ink and a label applied over the lower shaft on the forehand side that lists the date of game plus opponent, an additional sticker reading "ST-144" is found added over the backhand side of the lower shaft as well. Displaying light but good game-use, residue from a now dried gripping agent is found over the shaft while some marks and chips are present over the lower shaft. Additionally, marks and tears are observed over both sides of the blade tape and the stick comes accompanied by a Frameworth COA.
ADDENDUM**Further research shows that in all the available images from the game where knobs of Sid's sticks are visible, an "87" appears in black ink which is missing from the knob of this one being offered. It is also known that the team sometimes misdates the sticks in terms of when they were used.
