This spectacular Montreal Canadiens captain’s jersey worn by Saku Koivu has a bit of everything: two great shoulder patches, solid game wear, and it’s photo-matched to boot! Koivu’s 2008-09 Canadiens white road game-worn jersey displays the “100 Seasons” patch on the right shoulder the Habs wore throughout the season leading into their centennial celebrations, and the 2009 NHL All-Star Game patch sits on the left shoulder. The jersey is photo-matched by four included digital images to the black marks on the left front tail and to the small black mark located on the left sleeve seam between the “C” on the left breast and the No. 11 on the sleeve.
A Canadiens 2008-09 “100 Seasons” Game-Worn Jersey team patch with an inventory number is sewn inside the rear tail. “1” is handwritten in black marker in the back of the collar above the size 54 flag tag. More game wear includes pilling inside the rear tail and black marks to the right of the numbers on the back, and a couple of marks on the left rear tail, including a small spot of red paint transfer.
