Pittsburgh rookie Ryan Malone wore this Penguins jersey throughout the first period of the 2004 NHL YoungStars Game during the All-Star weekend in St. Paul, Minn. The NHL YoungStars patch is sewn on the right breast of Malone’s game-worn jersey from the East YoungStars’ 7-3 loss to the West YoungStars at Xcel Energy Center on Feb. 7, 2004. Malone, who scored in the second period of the game, led the Penguins with 22 goals and finished third in team scoring with 43 points. CCM NHL Center Ice Authentic tagging sits in the back of the collar along with a size 56 flag tag. NHLPA patch is sewn on the right rear tail with an embroidered NHL crest to its right. Comes with an LOA.
There are two tiny reddish-brown spot stains on the left breast, a few more on the left shoulder, including the modern Penguins patch, and a few light marks on the front tail, on the rear tail near the hem, and on the lower left sleeve.
MeiGray NHL Game-Worn Jersey 2003-2004 Season patch sewn inside the rear tail has registry number “B11631” that corresponds to the LOA.
