The back-up to Kelly Hrudey as the Los Angeles Kings made their way through the 1993 Stanley Cup playoffs to the final, Robb Stauber saw action in 31 regular season games in 1992-93, with an additional 4 played during the playoffs. We have a Kings jersey worn by the Duluth native during the 1992-93 Stanley Cup playoffs. A Maska Air-Knit label and size “56” fly tag grace the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the familiar white, black and grey Kings team crest with embroidered detailing, the solid black V-neck has been accented with layered tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Stauber” placed directly onto the upper reverse in white single twill letters. The important 1993 Stanley Cup patch is also present, placed over the centennial patch just above the right breast for the finals.
The team patch resides over the inside hem, and it denote’s the garment as a playoff set with “Set P”. The patch has also been initialed by Kings equipment manager Peter Millar. A few faint marks are visible over the white striping bands on the lower front and left sleeve, with a single fabric pull over the lower right sleeve.
