Goalie Peter Sidorkiewicz became the first modern Ottawa Senators player chosen to an NHL All-Star Game in 1993. Sidorkiewicz was tabbed as the woeful expansion team’s representative for the Wales Conference in Montreal before veteran Sens defenseman Brad Marsh was added as a commissioner’s pick. The 1993 NHL All-Star Game patch sits on the right shoulder of Peter’s Wales All-Stars game-worn No. 31 jersey and the Stanley Cup Centennial patch is sewn on the right breast. Maska and size 56 flag tags sit in the back of the neck. Wayne Gretzky and Ray Bourque are among the members of both squads that signed on both sides of a team-signed “Sidorkiewicz” Louisville game-issued stick. Also includes a Wales All-Stars team picture, a media binder and 1993 ASG souvenir picture frame. Comes with Peter Sidorkiewicz’s signed LOA.
A faint black mark on the front of the upper left sleeve is the best of obviously light wear on Sidorkiewicz’s game-worn jersey, which comes with a pair of white 1993 ASG game-worn socks;
HOFers Yzerman, Bure and Modano are among the Campbell All-Stars who signed the stick, which has a “Jan 27 1993” date stamp on the back of the shaft. HOFers Stevens and LaFontaine are among the Wales All-Stars along with the likes of Muller, Turgeon, Lowe and Recchi, among others;
The 1993 Wales Conference All-Stars team picture on stiff cardboard backing measures 13 3/4" x 10 3/4";
“Montreal, Quebec” and “1993 Coca-Cola NHL All-Star Weekend” are engraved on either side of the hinged brass picture frame that measures 13” x 4 3/4" overall with slots for two photos to display to about 3x5 each;
Also included is a Stanley Cup Centennial patch.
