Captaining the powerful Russian men's national ice hockey team at the Winter Olympics in 2014 and 2018, Pavel Datsyuk earned considerable hardware throughout his NHL tenure including the Frank J. Selke Trophy three times, the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy four-consecutive times, and the Stanley Cup, twice. The Magic Man possessed arguably the best hands in the game, with his combined stickhandling ability and scoring prowess the envy of his competitors. Offered directly from the Ted Lindsay Foundation with proceeds from this sale to benefit their continued battle against autism, we have a print signed by the superstar. At 18” x 24” and picturing Datsyuk in a posed game-action image, with his countenance stating all business, he has added a large silver paint pen signature to the right of his image, and it displays perfectly. With just light wear to the print including touches to a few corners, an LOA will accompany.
Originally created by the legendary Hall of Fame superstar in 2001 to assist a friend’s child diagnosed with autism, the Ted Lindsay Foundation was established to “support research and educational programs focusing on the cause and management of autism spectrum disorders.” Although Ted sadly left us in 2019, the foundation’s important work has continued, with over 5 million raised from inception through 2020. At the 28th National Philanthropy Day celebration, the Ted Lindsay Foundation received the prestigious “Outstanding Foundation Award” for 2019, from the Greater Detroit Chapter of Association of Fundraising Professionals for demonstrating “outstanding commitment through financial support and through encouragement and motivation to others to take leadership roles in philanthropy and community involvement.” A partial list of programs supported by the Ted Lindsay Foundation include; FAR Therapeutic Arts and Recreation, The Healing Haven-Linking Hands and Hearts, The Courage Awards, Venetian’s Club’s Halloween Party, The Johnson Center, Dutton Farms and For The Kids Foundation.
