From just his third NHL season, Paul Henderson would score 46 points in 69 games in 1965-66, with an additional 6 points in 12 playoffs games as the Detroit Red Wings advanced to the Stanley Cup finals. Hailing from his personal collection, we have the puck used by the Team Canada legend to secure his milestone 20th goal of the season, a career-high for Henderson at that point in his career. Featuring a rubberized Red Wings logo, the Original Six-era puck has been mounted within a wooden shield plaque (7” x 9”), with a silver plate beneath engraved with the particulars including “Goal No 20”, “9th Game Winning Goal” (of the season), “Feb 20-66” and “Toronto vs Detroit”. There is some wear to the puck including a small chip, with additional surface wear to the plaque. A signed LOA from Paul Henderson will accompany.
