Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
Representing the Original Six era, we have a highly sought group of six pucks, with each all the more desirable as they hail from the personal collection of Canadian hockey legend, Paul Henderson. Included, we have a trio of NHL Art Ross/Converse game pucks from 1968-69, with examples for the Canadiens, Bruins and Rangers, along with a trio of Art Ross/Converse game pucks from the 1969-77 period, with examples for the Maple Leafs, Red Wings and Black Hawks. The 1968-69 pucks feature rubberized team logos and Converse crests, while the 1969-77 pucks have rubberized team logos and screened Converse crests. Condition varies slightly within the group, with the pucks all showing light to moderate wear with toning to the logos, with wear to the Converse crests on the Leafs and Black Hawks pucks. We should also note that each puck is somewhat sticky from the release of interior oils. A signed LOA from Paul Henderson will accompany.
