The first overall selection at the 1990 NHL Entry Draft, Owen Nolan saw action in 1,200 NHL contests over 18 seasons, with appearances made at five NHL All-Star Games. The Northen Ireland native also represented Team Canada at the Winter Olympics and World Championships. From his time with the blue and white, we have a photo-matched Toronto Maple Leafs jersey worn by Nolan in 2003-04, his second of two seasons with the club. A label and size “56” fly tag are attached to the collar, with KOHO and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Featuring the club’s famous team crest with “Toronto Maple Leafs” embroidered, “11” appears over the sleeves and verso in tri-colour tackle twill, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. A patch from MeiGray numbered “B08632” resides on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "Blue 3rd Regular Season" example.
It should also be noted that the jersey sports custom-shortened sleeves. Exhibiting just light game use, there are faint burns over each sleeve and the left shoulder, with marks over the left sleeve’s number along with a small hole near the elbow section. Getty Image #52328107 (2004 season) has been matched to the black mark on the stem of the team crest, while Getty Images #3283129 (March 16, 2004) and #50834147 (March 23) have both been matched to the black mark on the stem of the team crest, and to the black mark to the right of the team crest near the "T” of “Toronto”.
