For those always seeking quality signed items of Montreal Canadiens royalty, we have a desirable collection of autographed Habs items dominated by The Rocket and totaling eight, highlighted by a unique 1968 tax return signed by Richard. Included, we have five signed 16” x 20” photos with one signed by Lafleur, Beliveau and Maurice, one signed by Beliveau and Gilles Gilbert, one multi-signed by Bonin, Beliveau, Moore, Goyette, the Pocket Rocket and Geoffrion (accompanying index card – not attached) and individual photos signed by Beliveau and The Rocket. The remaining items include the aforementioned signed tax return, along with a puck and S. Albert & Cie premium picture both signed by Maurice.
The individual Richard photo shows heavy surface wear with a nice gold-coloured signature, with a few indentations to the multi-signed Habs photo, with the attractive signatures all scripted in blue sharpie. The Beliveau and Gilbert photo also has blue sharpie signatures and light wear to the photo itself, with the individual Beliveau photo showing light wear with the silver paint pen signature gone-over repeatedly, likely due to a weak marker. The triple-signed Lafleur, Beliveau and Rocket photo is signed in blue sharpie, with very light corner wear. The 3-page 1968 tax return is 8 ½” x 14” and exhibits just handling wear, with the blue ballpoint signature showing no issues. Lastly, the Richard picture puck features a clean blue ink signature with wear to the reverse of the puck, with the 6” x 7” premium picture signed in blue ballpoint directly beneath the pre-printed facsimile example.
