Icons throughout the 1970s, it could be argued that Fonzie was the coolest, Steve Austin was the smartest and Muhammad Ali was the toughest. For those enamored with vintage action figures, we have a trio of desirable examples, including The Fonz, Ali and The Six Million Dollar Man, with each featuring the original boxes. The Fonz is an 8” figure produced in 1976 with intact leather jacket, with a pair of original price tags on the box including one with a reduced total of $5.77. The figure remains in excellent condition, with just light to moderate handling wear including a tear to the box. The Steve Austin figure was made by Kenner in 1975 and stands 13” tall, and appears complete with intact jumpsuit. The box exhibits expected handling wear, with some minor creasing along with tape present over each opening. Lastly, the Ali doll was produced in 1976 and stands 9 ½” tall, with headgear, shorts and boots intact, with the plastic carding completely detached from the box. The accessories appear complete, with robe, gloves and trigger mechanism, along with the instructions. Aside for the aforementioned detached plastic carding, the cardboard backing itself shows moderate wear, with a large crease present along with some edge wear.
