Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 3/8/2017
From his rookie season with the New York Islanders where he appeared in 60 games, we have an Islanders jersey worn by defenceman Mathieu Biron in 1999-00. A sewn-over CCM label along with a size “58” fly tag remain affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with the iconic Long Island team crest partially embroidered in tri-colour tackle twill, the “Blue Set 2” jersey has been accented with tri-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with an alternate crest over the right shoulder. The team patch sits on the inside hem, with the NHL 2000 crest just above the right breast. A few small marks are visible on the lower front striping band, with faint board burns over each sleeve. An LOA from the Islanders will accompany, along with a COR from MeiGray.
