Presented here are Mathieu Gagnon’s, Loik Poudrier’s, and Matthew Bursey’s game-worn
jerseys from the 2010-11 QMJHL Shawinigan Cataractes season. Each jersey comes with an LOA and shows clear signs of game use.
Mathieu Gagnon’s 2010-11 game-worn home jersey shows evidence of a former nameplate and
comes with a team LOA. Gagnon played for the team from 2010-11 to 2012-13. The jersey
features Shawinigan patches on both shoulders, an LHJMQ patch on the right breast, and an
RBK patch on the left breast. An RBK patch is also located on the reverse neckline, with some
piling visible on the neckline. The number 5 is stitched in yellow over navy and white tackle twill
on both arms and in navy over white and yellow tackle twill on the back. The front of the jersey
has some small puck and stick marks. The left arm exhibits puck and stick marks on the
shoulder, a small board burn on the sleeve, and a small hole. The right arm shows small board
burns and a small rip in the sleeve. The back features “GAGNON” in navy on the nameplate
with yellow stains near the nameplate. The fight strap is securely affixed inside the jersey.
Loik Poudrier’s 2010-11 game-worn alternate (third gold) jersey with the numbers on the sleeves and back changed to the current number 72. Poudrier played for the team from
2010-11 to 2012-13. This size 56 Reebok jersey has an RBK patch on the reverse neckline, an
RBK patch on the right breast, and an LHJMQ patch on the left breast. Shawinigan patches
appear on both shoulders. The number 72 is stitched in white over navy and yellow tackle twill
on the arms and white over yellow and navy tackle twill on the back. The right arm shows some
subtle stick and puck marks on the sleeve and shoulder. The left arm exhibits clear signs of a
number change. The back has faint puck and stick marks, with “POUDRIER” in navy on the
nameplate. The fight strap is securely affixed inside the jersey.
Matthew Bursey’s 2010-11 game-worn road jersey shows evidence of a longer former
nameplate and comes with an LOA. Bursey played only four regular season games and seven
playoff games for the Cataractes in 2010-11. This size 56 Reebok jersey features an RBK logo
affixed on the reverse neckline, an LHJMQ patch on the right breast, and an RBK patch on the
left breast. Shawinigan patches are present on both shoulders. The number 93 is stitched in
yellow over navy and white tackle twill on both arms and the back. The right arm shows faint
board burns on the sleeve and shoulder. The left arm also has faint board burns on the sleeve
and shoulder. The back features “BURSEY” in white on the nameplate. The fight strap is
securely affixed inside the jersey.
