Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025

A confirmed tough guy with numerous fisticuffs taking place during his time in the OHL including against a young Tie Domi, Scott Mahoney would register 272 PIM in 1987-88, the most over his three seasons in Oshawa. Hailing from the J. Ross Robertson Cup-winning season of 1986-87, we have a Generals jersey that was worn by the Peterborough native. Currently void of any collar labeling and measuring-out to roughly a size 52, the mesh V-neck has been styled with “Oshawa” and “Generals” across the chest in tackle twill with embroidered detailing, with sleeve and verso numbers in matching material. Exhibiting heavy wear with numerous marks, scuffs, small holes and paint transfer, there is also a large approx. 4” x 8” material addition that has been made over the lower reverse with a nickel-and-lace makeshift fight strap. We should also note some fraying to the material along with loose threading, especially along the collar and lower sleeves.
