Highlighted by a vintage Detroit Red Wings Canadian and American flags crest, along with a group of seven unseen cardstock NHL game-action photos by photographers John Maiola and Turofsky from 1963-64, we offer a neat little collection of vintage hockey memorabilia. Included, we have a Crown Brand 'How to Become a Hockey Star' booklet from 1935, 1942-43 Imperial Oil NHL schedule (marked), vintage Minnesota North Stars felt team crest, Crackers magazine with Gretzky cover, Gordie Howe Eatons 1960s photo premium, Guy Lafleur signed Nordiques postcard, a group of 21 early-1980s Quebec Nordiques postcards including Peter Stastny, and approx 78 8" x 10" copies of wire photos from the late-1970s/early-1980s of mostly hockey along with a few other sports. The Red Wings felt crest is just under 7" x 8", with screened on graphics, while the cardstock photos are 8" x 10" with a caption for each. They include Bower vs Richard, Howe vs the Leafs, Keon vs Hall, Plante vs the Leafs, Mohns vs F. Mahovlich, Bathgate vs Rangers and Leafs defeat Red Wings for 1964 Stanley Cup. These photos show light wear with small imperfections including corner wear and the odd tiny crease. As an added bonus, the lot also includes a vintage Detroit Tigers mini pennant (slightly faded).
