Joining the NHL in 1972-73, the New York Islanders were successful early, advancing to the Stanley Cup semifinals in four of the franchise's first seven seasons, followed by a dynasty of four consecutive Stanley Cup championships beginning in 1979-80. We offer a collection of Islanders programs, yearbook and player/team photos totaling 60 and spanning through the 1970s and 1980s. There is a total of 7 programs including 1982 Stanley Cup semifinals program with finals media pass stapled to interior, and 1982 playoffs semifinals media pass accompanying, 1978 Stanley Cup quarterfinals program with Games 1 and 2 playoff media press and locker room passes stapled to the interior, and 1981 Stanley Cup finals Cup-clinching Game 5 program with copy of scoresheet included and finals media pass stapled to interior (detached centerfold). The yearbooks total 6 and include 1974-75, 1976-77, 1982-83, 1984-85, 1987-88 and 1988-89. Next, we have 9 team photos either 8" x 10" or 8 1/2" x 11" including 1973-74, 1979-80, 1980 Stanley Cup champs, 1982 Stanley Cup champs, 1984-85, 1985-86, 1986-87 (2 different), and 1988-89, followed by 3 team-issued photos with Bossy (1980-81 and 1981-82) and Goring (1980-81), team-issued player cards signed by Bill Harris (2), Clark Gillies and Bert Marshall, 22 team-issued cards from 1984-85 including Smith, Trottier and Potvin, and 8 mid-1980s postcards including Bossy (3 different). Most of the items exhibit minimal wear.
