A diamond in the rough who was selected 58th overall by Tampa Bay at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Nikita Kucherov has become one the best goal scorers and overall players in the National Hockey League today, helping the Lightning to back-to-back Stanley Cup Championships in 2020 and 2021 as well as winning the Art Ross and Hart Memorial Trophies in 2019. Setting the NHL records for most assists in a single season by a winger (100) and most points in a single season by a Russian-born player (144) during the 2023-24 season, offered here is this photo-matched stick used by Kucherov during the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs, specifically during game one (1) of Tampa Bay's second (2nd) round matchup against the Boston Bruins on August 23rd. A Bauer Supreme 2S Pro model twig with "Kucherov" factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick retains Kucherov's original white gripper around the handle/knob as well as the black and white tape job around the blade. Having been marked with "no good" and an "X" over the gripper in black marker ink, with a "14" added over the reverse side in matching ink, the stick also sports its factory production sticker affixed to the underside of the shaft alongside a label reading "AUG 23 2020 VS BOSTON - RD 2 GM 1". Sporting game-use via some marks and abrasions throughout the length of the shaft as well as puck marks over both sides of the blade tape, a red post paint transfer mark on the forehand side of the blade and small tears on the backhand side of the blade, the stick has been photo-matched with Getty Image #1268138353 (August 23rd, 2020 vs Boston - 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs - Eastern Conference Semi-Finals Game 1) to some of the puck marks over the blade tape on the forehand side and to the white scuff on the blade.
