A product of the Färjestad BK system in his native Sweden, Marcus Johansson was drafted 24th overall by the Washington Capitals at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft and has gone on to see action in over 900 National Hockey League games representing six different clubs. We have a Capitals jersey issued to Johansson for the 2016-17 Stanley Cup playoffs. Made by Reebok and sporting a lone size "58" label affixed to the inner collar, crests for both the NHL and Reebok adorn the front and reverse necklines respectively. Decorated over the front of the jersey with a large Capitals team crest that shows embroidered detailing, matching alternate logo patches have been placed atop both shoulders. Accented over the sleeves and verso in tackle twill numerals, "Johansson" has been spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed nameplate, with the NHL centennial crest to the right sleeve. Issued but never worn, the jersey remains in like-new condition. A MeiGray patch numbered "N05745" is sewn to the inside hem, and according to the population report, the jersey is a "White Set 4 / Playoffs w/Centennial Patch - Game Issued (GI)" specimen. An LOA from the Capitals will accompany.
