Concluding the decade with the closing of the Original Six era and the emergence of the expansion era, we offer a 1969-70 O-Pee-Chee hockey complete 231-card set with PSA/SGC-Graded Cards (15), with the majority graded NM-MT 8 or better. First, the PSA graded cards include 9 cards graded NM-MT 8 with 202-Doak, 191-Balon, 190-Lemieux, 184-Carleton, 183-Ley, 170-Heiskala, 155-Pronovost, 154-Hextall, and 135-Caffery, followed by MINT 9 cards with 173-Cherry and 176-Plager, and one card graded EX-MT 6 with 88-Favell. The SGC graded cards include NN-Howe Mr. Hockey at NM/MT 8 and 198-Nanne and 187-Bower both GEM 10. The overall condition of the non-graded cards is about EX, with about 30 to 40 cards in low grade. The ungraded cards included in the EX to EX/MT range are 10-Beliveau, 24-Orr (light print surface marks), 70-Hull (slight corner wear), 89-Parent (bottom left corner), Howe Mr. Hockey (light corner wear on left side), 207-Plante/Hall Vezina Trophy (slight corner wear), 209-Orr AS (left border small damage) and 215 Howe AS (light surface snow in black area). In the EX/MT+ range we have 20-Esposito (tiny ding top left corner), 138-Esposito rookie (slight OC, slight fuzz top left) and 231-Stanley Cup (slight corner wear). Rounding out the set, we have 31-checkist (marked and creased) and 132-checklist (marked and creased with extra ink), and 42-Ratelle all POOR, 61-Howe (small creasing shows on back) and 180-Plante (crease shows on back only) both G to G+, 212-Orr AS G- to G (left border small damage), 4-Savard rookie VG to VG/EX (light corner wear), 182-Horton FAIR and 76-Mikita VG/EX to EX (OC on bottom plus corner wear). Lastly, card 1-Worsley has light corner wear, and card number 153 is torn.
