Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2025
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 4/29/2025
Existing for a mere two seasons before becoming the Colorado Rockies in 1976-77, the Kansas City Scouts won 15 games during the inaugural season of 1974-75, with Simon Nolet leading the team in scoring. This souvenir stick was given out at Kemper Arena during the Scouts first home game on November 2, 1974 vs Chicago, and it has been signed by the team's #1 draft choice (2nd overall), Wilf Paiement. A full size model made by Hillerich & Bradsby with "Kansas City Scouts" in red on one side of the shaft, Paiement has signed across the blade in matching red, with the signature flawless. An ideal keepsake for a short-lived franchise with very few items surfacing to collect.
