Scoring an impressive 41 goals in just 52 regular-season games – more than enough to garner the coveted Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy as the NHL’s top goal scorer for the first time in his career, offered here is this pair of mitts worn by the American born sniper during a portion of the 2020-21 season in which he fired a league leading 41 goals in 52 games played. Worn during matches that the Maple Leafs wore their Irish-centric "St. Pats" alternate uniforms, specifically in the March 14, 2021 contest vs Ottawa (Matthews earned an assist during the first period), and the March 19, 2021 game vs Calgary, the CCM Pro model gauntlets in all green with embroidered white details have had "Matthews" identifiers screened over each wrist while "CCM" is embroidered into both cuffs. Sporting good game-wear despite their limited use, board burns/stick marks are found over the outside of the let glove while a couple of very small rips are seen on the outside of the right one. With light rubbing over each palm evident as well, heaviest on the right one, the gloves are accompanied by an LOA from the Maple Leafs. Additionally, also included with the lot is Matthews' "St. Pats" locker room nameplate from the same season that measures 12" x 2" and remains in excellent condition (some light adhesive stuck on the reverse) as well as a "St. Pats" hat worn by him in the same season as well which is also in good condition but shows some minor sweat staining and has his number "34" inside of a four leaf clover heat pressed over the reverse along with an NHL shield crest. Both are also accompanied by LOA's from the Maple Leafs.
