Playing his junior hockey with the Peterborough Petes of the Ontario Hockey League, Steven Lorentz would be drafted 186th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes in 2015 and has since gone on to play with the Hurricanes, San Jose Sharks and currently, the Florida Panthers. A Calder Cup champion in 2019 with the Charlotte Checkers, offered here is this jersey worn by Lorentz during his lone season with the club in 2022-23. Made by Adidas, a band displaying both size "56" and "Made in Canada" designations is affixed to the inner collar above a screened on "Prime Green" designation while the front and reverse necklines are accented with the logo crests of the NHL and Adidas respectively. Decorated over the front with a Sharks team crest that featured embroidered details throughout, matching alternate logo patches are in place over both shoulder and an embossed geometric pattern is seen in the sleeve and hem stripes. Styled over the sleeves and verso with Lorentz's number "16" in dual layer white-over-black tackle twill numerals, "Lorentz" is spelt out in single layer white twill letters across the affixed matching nameplate on the reverse. Having had a Sharks team tag affixed to the inner collar that denotes the jersey as being from the 2022-23 season, the jersey exhibits excellent game-wear in the form of team repairs, board burns, light stick marks and unrepaired cuts/holes over each sleeve with stick marks over the front and additional board burns over the lower front and reverse.
