A Memorial Cup champion in 2005 with his hometown London Knights, Brandon Prust would go on to an NHL career that saw him suit up in 486 games after being selected 70th overall by the Calgary Flames in 2004. Up for grabs here is this Calgary Flames jersey worn by Prust during the 2009-10 NHL season. Made by Reebok with a lone size “58” tag affixed to the inner collar and number 33 handwritten in black marker, crests for both Reebok and the NHL shield reside over the reverse neckline and hem respectively. Decorated over the front with the Flames familiar flaming “C” crest in layered tackle twill with a city of Calgary crest sown on the right shoulder and a Canadian flag patch sown on the left shoulder. Calgary’s all-important 30th anniversary patch has been added over the right breast. Prust’s number “33” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in tri-layer tackle twill numerals, “Prust” is spelt out in dual layer red-over-black letters across the affixed matching nameplate. Exhibiting limited game-wear via stick marks that are present over the bottom front, as well as a board burn on the city of Calgary patch. Prust has signed the fight strap on the interior with a red marker ink signature that displays well despite the elastic nature of the fabric. Having had a MeiGray tag numbered “G01589” sewn inside the reverse hem, according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “White Set 2 – worn jersey” specimen. A matching LOA will accompany the piece.
