Recognized as the definitive baseball publication throughout the sports history, with the easily recognizable red covers used for decades, Baseball Magazine's first issue hit the newsstands in 1908, with many of the early issues highly valued by collectors. This group of 52 issues spans from the 1930s to 1950s, including 11 issues from the 1930s, 14 issues from the 1940s and 28 issues from the 1950s. Highlights include covers with Gehrig (1939), DiMaggio (1939), Feller (1939), Doubleday (1939 Centennial issue), Ruth (1952), Musial (1952) and others. The majority show light to moderate wear and display well with no major issues, along with a few that sport tape to the spines.
