Selected 2nd overall at the 1966 NHL Draft, Brad Park was a nine-time All-Star throughout his NHL career, and served as runner-up for the James Norris Trophy six-times - usually behind Bobby Orr. The Toronto native was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1988. Originally sold at auction from the Brad Park personal collection, we have a group of Park items totaling approx 36. Included, we have a matching group of 44 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" black and white photos, 23 photos mostly 8" x 10" team issue with duplication along with a few media photos, 7 larger mostly 11" x 14" photos including a Rangers team photo, a 1971 Sporticatures picture, a copy of the Feb 6, 1971 Sporting News with Park cover and three large trophies. The trophies include two at approx 13" in height from WBZ Boston radio for #3 star in 1977-78 and #2 star in 1976-77, with both featuring a trophy bowl over a tiered wooden base with mounted player (both show wear, with the player broken off the 1976-77 trophy but included with broken hockey stick), while the third is a trophy bowl with mounted player engraved with "Elizabeth C DuFresne Trophy 1977-78 Brad Park" (Bruins team trophy), with surface wear throughout.
