Earning his fifth and final James Norris Trophy, Ray Bourque concluded the 1993-94 NHL season second in team scoring behind Adam Oates, and led the club to the Eastern Conference Semifinals vs New Jersey. This stick was used by the superstar blueliner has been team-signed by the 1993-94 Bruins. A Sher-Wood PMPX model, “Bourque 77” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with “Handcrafted Exclusively for Raymond Bourque” on the underside. The stick retains the original black tape over the blade and white tape over the shaved handle/knob, with the striping accent intact. Light to moderate game-use is exhibited including wear to the underside of the blade and a few tears to the tape, with marks and minor surface chipping to the shaft. The frontside has been shaved-down, with 17 thick black marker signatures applied, with many hard to decipher. Signers include Bourque, along with Neely, Oates, Iafrate (only season with Boston), Reid and others.
