Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Fall 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 9/20/2022
The king of the postwar era and arguably the most collected player in history after Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle sadly left us in 1995, and despite the over quarter-century since his passing, the demand for any and all Mick items constantly increases - especially the John Hancock of the beloved Bomber. This vintage framed photo has been signed by the iconic legend. At 8" x 10" and appearing to be a full-colour magazine page, Mickey is depicted in his Bronx finery including trusty H&B K55 model, with his large and flowing blue fiber-tip marker signature with "No. 7" standing out beautifully. Double-matted and framed to 12" x 15", there are no issues for the autograph or page, with the frame showing light wear. A JSA LOA will accompany.
Please note; While all of our frames are thoroughly and safely packaged for shipping, due to the size and/or weight, and dependent upon the shipping company, we should mention that damage may occur in transit. Please note that as such, we are not responsible for any damage to frames that occurs during shipping.
