The only major professional hockey team to represent the provincial capital and Canada’s oldest city after the legendary Quebec Bulldogs, the Quebec Nordiques are highly collected despite their relocation to the American west a quarter-century ago, and we offer a Nords jersey from the mid-1980s with use attributed to Jimmy Mann (1985-86) / Max Middendorf (1986-87). A partially-detached CCM label with handwritten “54” sizing is affixed to the collar along with a born-on date tag of “85 10”, with an embroidered CCM crest over the reverse hem. Featuring a tackle twill Nords team crest, “10” is heat-pressed to the sleeves and verso in blue vinyl, with fleur-de-lys placed over the shoulders and lower bands in matching material. The Rendez-Vous ’87 crest is sewn to the right shoulder. There is evidence of two former nameplates for the aforementioned players, with appropriate lengths for each respective nameplate. Sporting heavy wear to the material throughout, there are washed-out marks, scrapes and burns, with minor pilling in areas. There is also a small tear at the top of the puck on the team crest, with many of the fleur-de-lys and reverse numbers peeling considerably.
