The only Swedish goaltender in history to represent his nation as a three-time Olympian, which included winning gold in 1994, Tommy Salo first backstopped the New York Islanders before parts of six seasons in Edmonton. This Oilers jersey was worn by the two-time NHL All-Star during his second season with the club, in 1999-00. Elite, Pro Player and sizing labels (G58) are affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Pro Player crests on the reverse hem. Styled with the familiar tear-drop Oilers team crest, the white V-neck jersey has been accented with tri-layer tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching oil rig patches over each shoulder. The NHL 2000 patch resides over the right breast. Nice game-use is shown on the garment, with a number of puck marks visible over the front and sleeves, with a few material pulls overt he lower front and pilling to each cuff. The “Set #2” team patch resides on the inside hem, with an LOA from the Oilers to accompany along with a COR from MeiGray.
