Representing his nation internationally for a number of seasons which included winning gold at the 1996 World Cup of Hockey, Tony Amonte was drafted by the New York Rangers in 1988 and skated for five different clubs, concluding his career in Calgary. This Flames jersey was worn by the Massachusetts native during his final NHL season in 2006-07, specifically in the 5-4 victory over Florida on Jan 7, 2007 (Amonte had an assist on an Alex Tanguay goal in the match). A CCM label with “54” sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests over the bottom hem and reverse neckline. Styled with a large tackle twill Flames team crest, “10” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in slanted numerals, with the Garth Brooks “Teammates for Kids” patch residing just above the right breast. Sporting light game-use, there are a few faint marks and burns visible to the front and sleeves. A MeiGray crest numbered “D02714” is affixed to the inside hem with a matching LOA to accompany, and according to the company’s population report, the jersey is a “Red w/ ”Teammates for Kids” Patch – 1/4/07” specimen.
