Defeating the Calgary Flames, Winnipeg Jets and Chicago Black Hawks during the postseason while losing just a mere three contests, the Edmonton Oilers would advance to the Stanley Cup final once again in 1985, and would vanquish the Philadelphia Flyers in five games. Featuring the Edmonton Oilers along with Wayne Gretzky during the five-game Stanley Cup Finals in 1985, this collection of 35mm negatives totals approx 3,183, with the breakdown to feature approx 905 images from Game 3 (May 25th) including Gretzky scoring, 997 images from Game 4 (May 28th) and 477 images from the deciding Game 5 (May 30th) including Gretzky celebrating a goal. There are also images of the Stanley and Molson Cups, a Stanley Cup luncheon with Wayne Gretzky on May 27, on-ice and dressing room celebrations after winning the Cup including Gretzky, Paul Coffey hoisting the Cup, Cup celebrations at the Edmonton Convention Centre, images of a 60-foot long Oilers banner, downtown Edmonton Cup celebrations and more, with numerous images of most competing players including Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Grant Fuhr, Paul Coffey, Kevin Lowe, Bobby Clarke, Bob Froese, Dave Semenko, Brad Marsh, Mark Howe, Pelle Lindbergh, Run Sutter, Brian Propp, Glen Anderson, Rick Tocchet and others. The negatives come in their original envelopes, with many listing the date. The majority of the negatives remain in excellent condition with no issues.
