Drafted by Hartford in 1982 and dressing in over 1,000 NHL games throughout his career, Ulf Samuelsson is a two-time Stanley Cup champion with Pittsburgh, and represented Sweden internationally at every level. From the 1990s, we have a pairs of gloves used by Samuelsson with the Pittsburgh Penguins (1990-95) and attributed to the Flyers (1999-00), along with a single glove used with the Rangers (1995-99) and a signed 8” x 10” photo of Samuelsson during his time in Pittsburgh. The Pen gloves are Cooper models in black and white that show heavy use, with Samuelsson signing the right glove in black marker (images from Getty confirm the use of this model), while the single Rangers Itech 850 model left hand glove also shows considerable wear, with Samuelsson’s #5 handwritten (images from Getty also confirm the use of this model). The gloves attributed to the Flyers are solid black Easton models that show tremendous use with the material heavily worn throughout. The photo is signed in blue marker, set in a small frame to slightly larger dimensions.
