We’ll take care of two small stacks of O-Pee-Chee cards from the early-1970s first, with condition not way up there but with some star and rookie card action of note. A VG+ Brad Park RC highlights 30-some from ’70-71, with Cheevers (G), Vachon, Lemaire and Horton amid the mostly VG to VG-EX group, with close to four dozen ’71-72s headlined by a Marcel Dionne rookie (EX+) that boasts a beauty scratch/scuff-free surface – nice. An Orr All-Star (VG+) and multi-creased cards of 193-Sittler (G) and 263-Beliveau Special (G), as well as a Ken Dryden booklet (VG) are other notables, with VG to EX-MT entries among the rest. Now then, an ’81-82 set of 396 has been stored in 9-pocket pages and a binder, with the pulled star and rookie cards, along with random pulls, leading to the following summary. NM-or-better cards look to be a strong majority, with rookie cards of Kurri, Moog, Murphy (OC) and Ciccarelli all NM or a tad higher, (the same as 106-Gretzky), with Coffey RC close (EX-MT+) and Savard and Stastny (OC) rookies among the EX-MT segment. Unmarked checklists are also to mention.
