Spanning from September 30th to March 16th and losing only 4 of their 48 games against assorted competition including the New York Rangers, Edmonton Oil Kings, Moscow Selects, Czechoslovakia, the Soviet Union and countless others, the Canadian National Team was victorious in the 1966 Walter A Brown and 1967 Centennial Tournaments in 1966-67, and we offer a team jersey from that season attributed to Duane McPhail. A small worn label is affixed to the inside seam, with the vintage sweater measuring-out to roughly a size 46. Styled with a white twill maple leaf team crest with “Canada” arching above, “19” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material. Nice game-use is shown on the tie-neck specimen, with a few marks and scrapes to the material, along with a few spots of blue staining to the left sleeve. There is also a material-backed team repair over the front band, with some general toning throughout.
