Featuring six competing American clubs from the Midwest, the 1950-51 USHL season witnessed the Omaha Knights decisively win the league by 19 points, and defeat fourth-place finishers Tulsa 3-1 in the best-of-five final. Bill Brennan backstopped the Knights in 52 of their 64 games, and earned selection to the 1951 USHL Second All-Star Team. This stick was used by Brennan during the 1950-51 USHL season, and it has been team-signed by the Omaha Knights. A proper Northland Pro model for the era with “Brennan” stamped to the upper shaft along with his preferred lie, additional stamps from team suppliers Lippman’s graces each side of the shaft, with the original tape over the blade, paddle and knob. Heavy game-use is shown, with numerous marks and paint transfer to the paddle and shaft, with wear over the taped handle and cracked blade. Three names are written all with the last name “Evers” along with the date of “12-23-50”, with 16 players signing in a vertical row on one side of the paddle in ballpoint, including Brennan, along with Motto McLean, Jim Hay, Jake Forbes, Bert Giesbrecht, Earl Reibel, Eddy Bruneteau, Hartley McLeod, Glen Skov, Lloyd Hinchberger, James Uniac, Pat Coburn, Bruce Giesbrecht, Francis O’Grady, Pete Durham and Charlie Homenuke.
