Contributing 16 points including 5 goals during the Colorado Avalanche’s inaugural Stanley Cup championship season of 1995-96, we have a stick used by Sylvain Lefebvre that has been team-signed by the victorious Avalanche. A Sher-Wood Iron Carbon model with “Lefebvre” and “2” stamped to the upper shaft, the original white tape remains over the shaved knob, with the blade tape removed. Sporting moderate game-use with black-streaking to the shaft, approx 15 have signed the front side shaft and blade in silver including Lefebvre and Patrick Roy, along with Forsberg, Simon, Corbet, Deadmarsh, Kamensky, Yelle, Fiset, Ozolinsh, Young, Rychel, Murray and a few others. The signatures display nicely despite being somewhat bunched-up. A 1996 “A Little Bit Country” Children’s Aid Society program from a charity auction where the stick was purchased is also included.
