Led in scoring by HOFers Frank Mahovlich, Bob Pulford and Dave Keon, with fellow enshrined members Terry Sawchuk and Johnny Bower securing the crease, the Toronto Maple Leafs finished 11 points behind first-place Montreal in 1965-66, and were defeated by the Habs during the postseason. This stick has been signed by 16 members of the 1965-66 Leafs including seven deceased HOFers. A generic full-size adult stick with “Left” and “6” (lie) over the upper shaft along with most of the original striping accent intact, all 16 have signed one side of the shaft in matching blue ballpoint, including deceased HOFers Sawchuk (somewhat faded but easily legible), Horton (solid example), Armstrong, Kelly, Stanley, Pronovost (a bit light) and Bower (a bit light), along with Pulford, Keon, F Mahovlich, Ellis, Hillman, Selby, Kurtenbach (only with the Leafs in 1965-66), Baun and trainer Tommy Naylor. The signatures display well unless otherwise noted, with light wear to the stick including minor separations near the heel of the blade (this is mentioned for accuracy, with the stick completely solid and unaffected).
