Winning 35 games and earning 5 shutouts to help the Pittsburgh Penguins conclude the 2015-16 NHL season in second place in the Metropolitan Division behind rival Washington, Marc-Andre Fleury backstopped the club in two games during the postseason en route to the Penguins fourth Stanley Cup championship. This signed blocker was used by the 2021 Vezina Trophy winner during the playoffs, and has been photo-matched to Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals vs Tampa Bay. A CCM Premier model in solid white with black and gold accents/identifiers, “Fleury” is embroidered over the reverse, with a number of initials handwritten beneath the tie string. Sporting thorough game-use with puck marks covering the front and side, Fleury has added a large black marker signature over the thumb guard, with Kay Whitmore also initialing the blocker in his capacity as goaltending supervisor of the NHL.
