Spending a pair of seasons in the Q in the early-1990s with Chicoutimi, Alexei Lojkin would later star for the Fredericton Canadiens, with his best season in 1996-97, scoring 89 points in 79 contests. This Montreal Canadiens jersey was worn by the Belarusian during the preseason, sometime between 1995-96 and 1998-99. A Maska Ultrafil label and size “52” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “47” appears over the sleeves and verso in white-over-blue tackle twill, with “Lojkin” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. There is also evidence of a former nameplate, with the jersey most likely issued to Stephan Lebeau originally, who wore #47, with his last season with the Habs occurring in 1993-94. The jersey sports light game use, with a few faint board burns over the right sleeve. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle on Montreal Canadiens letterhead will accompany.
